So, I have learned that being a grandma can be trying at best. She has decided that she doesnt want my grandson's daddy to see him, regardless of how much money he gives her every week, so none of us may see the child. Gotta love it.

We are now going into human services to begin fighting. Oh boy! Why do people use kids as pawns in battles? This is making me crazy!

blog #2

Ok, my first attempt at my very first blog was a bust. So, keeping my fingers crossed, I'm gonna try it again.  Firstly, homeschooling is a lot of work. The hardest being not hanging my son by his thumbs, no really, I'm serious. I talked to another friend of miine who is also a homeschooling mom, and I'm really appreciating all the help I am recieving from everybody. One friend, Lorna, gave the sage advice of breaking up the classes, do a few problems of math, when he gets fidgety leave it and then come back to it. WOW! that really is amazing! I know it sounds little, but it really is huge, for that I am grateful. Another friend, Errin, who is homeschooling said that sometimes there are those kids out there who cant do their school work quietly, or w/o fidgeting. She told me to relax, and just let him be. Maybe that's just the way he learns. As she was telling me this, I could here his teachers telling me that he never shuts up. So, hmmm, I'm thinking maybe this is how it has to be. I have to take a chill pill and chill. So, that is what I am doing. (w/o the pills of course) I am letting him do it his way, as much as I want to strangle the life out of him. Just kidding (no I'm not. Yes I am. No I'm not, Yes I am hmmm, I wonder which side of me is gonna win that battle)

So that is the end of my first blog, and before I hit send I am going to copy this so I can just paste it if it doesnt work.

Wish me luck

Creating and saving articles from the front-end of the site...

Here is another test article...

There is a 'save' and 'cancel' grey button by the upper right corner of the text edit window.  If you don't click Save, your entry will get lost :(  If the category isn't set right (down below here) to 'Guest Blog' (or some other choice if you're putting the entry elsewhere) then the article will be saved, but I may have to edit as administrator to reset the category so it shows up.

If you set 'State' to Unpublished then it also will not be shown on the site, but will be stored for later.  This is one way (perhaps the only way) to stash a partly completed article that you're going to come back to work on later.
